Webinar EndedGetting a Ph.D. is an uncertain process. You are accepted into a space based on your curiosity and desire to learn. Lisa-Marie Pierre was wide eyed and eager when she entered her Ph.D. program, but when she was told she was not “Ph.D. Material,” she spiraled (over)thinking and trying to figure out what “material” was she? That comment led her on a self-discovery journey from a Ph.D. student to a Senior Open Innovation Associate at Luminary Labs.
We will select up to 20 recent graduates (prioritized), graduate students, and undergraduate students to participate in this workshop. Selection will be based on your AAG membership status, your career needs, and time of registration. If you are selected, we will notify you ahead of the workshop and provide you all the workshop details and session links. If you are selected, the expectation is that you will participate in all sessions of the workshop.
The selected participants should be interested in a non-academic job or they are certain yet. These participants will also have one to two years left in their program. The workshop could also interest individuals making a pivot into a non-academic position.
This workshop will meet at the following times (Eastern Time):
Expect to also spend a few hours working independently on readings or short assignments for the workshop.
