An accessibility request question is available during the registration process and can also be sent to accessibility@aag.org. If possible, please make accommodation requests no later than one month prior to the meeting. This provides both the AAG and its contracted facilities lead time for ensuring optimal access, e.g. contracting with sign language interpreters.

- How attending the annual meeting will benefit the individual
- How the individual will enrich the annual meeting
- Participation in the annual meeting

Land Acknowledgment
What is now known as Manhattan is on the ancestral land of the Lenape People, who continue to endure and care for the land throughout the Northeast, as well as in the diaspora caused by colonial oppression, genocide, and forced displacement. In holding our 2022 annual meeting on this land, AAG acknowledges our responsibility to contribute to its care and to support the sovereignty and tenure of the Lenape People and all Indigenous Peoples. Visit the Lenape Center online.
We strive to create a professional and safe environment for all during AAG events. As part of this effort, we require all attendees to read our policies, so that they can agree to the questions during the registration process.
Review our policies(updated Jan. 14, 2022)
AAG will convert AAG2022 to an entirely virtual event. We based our decision on the best information we have now, given the repeated variant outbreaks, transmission rates, and on-going safety and service disruptions that present insurmountable challenges to running a safe, successful in-person meeting.
AAG staff will convert any in-person or hybrid sessions or abstracts to virtual sessions. If you are already presenting virtually or organizing a virtual session, nothing will change for your presentation. We will also refund the difference between in-person and virtual registration rates to all in-person participants. No action is needed on your part.
We are confident that the virtual experience will deliver robust content and networking opportunities. We want to thank you for being part of the AAG community. Your presence and support mean the world to us, and we look forward to engaging with you at AAG2022.
