SUPPORTING K-12 GEOGRAPHY & GIS EDUCATION

GeoMentors

Enhancing geography and GIS education at the K-12 level is important for the future of our disciplineā€”and our world. GeoMentors are volunteers who support this effort by helping educators introduce geographic concepts and geospatial technology to students across the country. From undergraduate students to retirees, we encourage our AAG community to consider volunteering your skills as a GeoMentor. For examples of GeoMentor volunteers and different outreach and activity possibilities, explore the collection of GeoMentor spotlights and case studies to inspire your own GeoMentoring journey.
